This is a 1997 Craftsman LT1000 riding mower with a Craftsman Snow blower attachment. I modified the riding mower by installing a two cylinder Briggs and Stratton 17HP Twin II engine for better performance. The original one cylinder 17HP Intek Briggs and Stratton engine just didn’t have the power to handle heavy snow. It runs good, but my driveway is a bit too small for such a large snow machine. It would be better for a long driveway or a parking lot. The engine starts and runs without any issues, but will need an oil change. The body or shell of the rider does have a little rust, however not too bad. The front tires are brand new 4 ply’s. The rear tires I have installed inner tubes. They hold pressure throughout the year without any air loss issues. ( NOTE: THIS IS ONLY A SNOWBLOWER NOW. IT DOESN’T CUT GRASS. ) The rider comes with removable rear wheel weights, and removable rear chains with rubber traction grips. The snowblower attachment will need a little TLC like some oil, and grease on the levers, and movable parts. I had oiled them the last time I used it. But recommend doing it again before you use it. You will need a trailer to pick up the riding mower. It can be disassembled into two units if needed, Sorry, but I cannot deliver it.
