This vehicle has served for everything from daily short commutes, errands around town, and trips to nearby camping and hiking. The engine was rebuilt two owners ago. A lot of upkeep performed by the owner previous. About a year ago I had the alternator, starter, starter plate, and battery replaced. Also had struts replaced and wheels balanced and aligned. Also had upper seal replaced. Within the last couple of months the exhaust was replaced and the vehicle passed smog and has been registered. I am not a mechanic and cannot make any promises, but it has been reliable for a couple of years for me with only the noted major fixes. Trailer hitch is installed, but not the electric for it. It is mainly used for a bicycle hitch rack that is included if that is something you would use. There are some known issues, including: Roof leak due to loose roof rack (neither major nor consistent); Some interior wear (i.e. drivers seat and trunk); Speakers in dash work fine but were mounted incorrectly (I just never got around to addressing this); All four door and window insulation strips needs to be replaced; At idle the oil pressure gauge will will read near zero and a "Check Gauges" light will kick on (It has been this way for years without issue. It is NOT a "Check Engine" light and does not impact smog tests.); Gas tank float is inaccurate so 1/4 tank on the gauge should be treated as empty.
