Made in Germany in the late 19th or early 20th century. These sets were popular as toys and for teaching children tea etiquette. Key features include: *Porcelain with pink shading. *Transfer designs featuring animal characters. *Components: Teapot, teapot lid, creamer, 5 teacups, 5 saucers, and a sugar jar with the lid. 15 total pieces in all. *Age likely dates back to the late 1800s or early 1900s and was originally designed for children's tea parties and play. Most of the pieces are in excellent to like new condition. (Not used for play). However, 1 teacup has a very small chip or manufactured defect on the rim. The sugar bowl is missing one handle and the other handles on the piece look to have been repaired by a previous owner. Otherwise, no other issues are known. Item must be picked up in Easley.
