I am selling an antique wood Tonk Bench made by Tonk Mfg. Co. of Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1873 by Max Tonk, a wood carver. They became the country’s leader in piano stools and benches. They stopped manufacturing around 1950. The piano bench seat lifts to a storage area. This is a beautiful bench. There are signs of age but nothing unexpected or terrible.
