Vintage Vietnam Moulage Set NSN 6910-00-(contact info removed)

This is an issued vintage Vietnam War Ear U.S. military moulage set war wounds medical training kit. Issued to a United States army Medic by the name of Atwood. While it appears complete please review the photos as some pieces are missing. A typical set consists of a set of vinyl-plastiol models or moulages, each of which closely simulates an actual wound to the human body. Each moulage is life-sized, simulating real human skin, bone, and flesh. This kit provided the means to train military personnel in first aid treatment during combat simulating casualties and permitted trainees to mentally prepared and practice first aid skills in the battlefield. The use of these medical training kits helped medic personnel remove shock of first sight of a severe wounds and developed skills in identifying and treating wounds. The wood carry case Measures 24.75" x 15" x 7.5" with the total weight is 29 lb. It shows some signs of storage and years of age but otherwise in excellent condition for it's age. A quite rare item for your Vietnam War or Army Medic collection. Or for anyone in the medical field to have on display in their medical office.
