Collector Quality Stern Star Gazer Pinball Machine

For sale is a collector quality Star Gazer. It is one of the best on the planet and Stern factory correct as possible. This is my third build of the game. Game 1 is in my personal collection, game 2 was sold on Pinside within hours of listing, and game 3 is being listed now. The game was just finished. Warning - a Stern M-200 MPU series game was sacrificed in order to bring this game to life. This game was first turned on as a Star Gazer 11/26/23. It is what I like to refer to as a factory correct build. Total restore time is 160 - 200 hours. The game is installed in Stern M-200 MPU cabinet that has been taken down to bare wood and repainted in oil based paint. This is the factory correct cabinet. All mechanisms are original classic Stern parts that have been refurbished. The exception is the pop bumpers and flipper mechanisms. They are brand new. The transformer is the correct larger Stern transformer that is difficult to source these days. The coin door and legs were glass sandblasted and powder coated in light hammered silver. They look better than factory. The apron and shooter housing were also glass sandblasted and powder coated in grumpy blue. The art is vinyl stencil. The playfield and wire harness are both new. This also includes the light sockets. Playfield rails were upgraded to oak. The playfield is recently built and includes the ceramic coating. It looks and plays incredible. The older versions didn't have this as a topcoat. All plastics and posts are new. The game also has full LEDs lights and displays. The displays are the fancy white LED type installed in the factory display trays. They are impossible to photograph because of the refresh rate but look great in person. The displays include filters to change the color if so desired. Installed now is gray, but red and blue are included too. The coin box is included and is an original Stern box. Check out the original coin box deviders. The lockbar, receiver, and side rails are also Stern originals and in great shape. No Bally knockoffs here. The light board is a lazer cut replacement that is far better than anything the factory did. The backglass is the is a prototype color correct glass made by Fantastic Pinball. The idea was to make a glass that was both color correct and allow for a fire effect. In order to do this, the insert letting was removed from the glass and added to the light baffles.
