This gorgeous chest is a Lane 1920 cedar chest with serial #032620 (made on March 26, 1920. There are 3 posters on including one with a mysterious cypher and a family story of a one of a kind treasure. My grandfather bought this chest for my grandma and gave it to her as a wedding gift. The chest cost $9 back then. We would love to see this chest in an antique collector's home. It comes with the original key and lock. The inside is pristine with a slide shelf. The hinges need to be fixed. The lid has a small area that will need to be restored. There are scuffs and some scratches. I have more pics available.
