TOTALLY UNIQUE AND interesting focal point on your wall. There are a few tiny spots or flaws in paint but not visible from its place on your wall..This piece is just marvelously done. The ornate gold colored wood frame itself is of the Victorian era and adorned with bas relief wood flowers at the north, South, East and west side of the frame. The convex oval glass painting was held in place with bent nails, some of which need to be replaced - it is not fastened or seated well in the frame right now, so take care when moving upon receipt of the piece. There is a thin and very old piece of black paper that is mostly adhered to the back of the painting itself. MEASURES 23 " X 17" IN THE FRAME.
