Description

This is a Raku ceramic Chalice, a hand made piece from the mid 20th century. Raku Pottery is known for its distinctive, often unpredictable, Glaze effects achieved through a rapid firing & cooling process. This style of Pottery was popular in the 1960's & 70's. Some artists who worked in this style include Howard Kottler, Merric Boyd, & Stig Lindberg.
