Traveling Man Treasures is selling this ornately cast unsigned bronze sculpture presumed to have been sculpted in Italy (c. 1(contact info removed)). The artwork depicts the famous classical Roman sculpture known as The Dying Gaul (The Dying Gladiator) and is considered to have been a souvenir of the "Grand Tour" dating to the turn of the century. The original sculptor's identity is unknown, but it's been suggested it may have been Epigonus, a court sculptor of the Attalid Dynasty of Pergamon (230-220 B.C.)
