This thing works! Maybe a little too well, actually. Sometimes there will be cold spots in the house, and the AC isn't even on. It also makes weird noises sometimes that sound like whispered gibberish, but only in the middle of the night when you're alone. It looks janky, but that's because my young kids decided to practice art on it, and that one time when it just kept weeping blood out of the vent. We got that fixed though. Just needed a new filter. The remote that comes with it works intermittently. If you're having trouble with it, just spin the batteries around in the remote inside a pentagram of black candles while saying the Lord's Prayer backwards.
