Up for sale is a unframed copy of a very hard to find print by nationally renowned Door County artist, Charles Peterson. April 5, 1927 – June 2, 2022 Anyone familiar with his work knows well his ability to capture the era and moment he's depicting. In this case, it's a sailor trudging through snow with his duffel, after a long time at sea, just in time to be "Home for Christmas". "Home for Christmas" is one of Mr Peterson's earliest published works. It's from a very short print run and not many of these prints hit the open market. Here, we're looking at an even rarer species...the Artist's Proof, of which, only 50 exist. This one is numbered 6/50. This print comes to you unframed and in mint condition. It's ready for you to put your personal framing touch on it. Please see the photos and message me with any questions. First come, first served. NO HOLDS. Cross posted.
