Description

Vintage (1950’s?) 17’ Klepper Aerius Double/Tandem Kayak FRAME ONLY. Includes all frame pieces, including original paddles and bags. This model (Classic II?) is 17’ 11” and has a beam of 34”. The cockpit is 101” X 16.5” and also accommodates a main sail. Packs into 2 bags. I believe this is made of Ash & Birch however I’m not sure. It uses a Snap Lock system for no tool assembly. Rubber clips have deteriorated, parts are readily available at the Klepper site. This frame could be rejuvenated with new rubber clips and hull skin and on the water again or even assembled and hung as a unique piece of decor. A new Klepper Classic II complete Kayak currently sells for $5,163. This is a steal for $100. My price is firm.
