Just bought the sickest 2018 Range Rover sport from Joel at Tampa Bay Auto. The process was easy and I got approved in 1 minute, literally. I would go to these guys anytime I can. Simple process, great cars and good prices. Everybody was super cool and really nice the whole time.

Joel was responsive and friendly, and sent over the Carfax quickly. I made the journey out 3 hours to test drive this Civic. I would've missed the building if it weren't for the sea of cars around it. A big dog named Oatmeal greets you at the door. I was pretty sure about the car already since it was the exact model I was after and drove all that way for, so I test drove the car right away, and I ran another Carfax with the VIN on the windshield. Some dealerships will try to give you the Carfax for a different car, so you can never be too careful. Everything matched up and throughout the whole process, they came off as genuine and transparent. When discussing my trade in value, the manager walked me through his thought process for the value and made a very fair offer. Joel was helpful with the financing and made the process  clear and easy. Overall, it was worth the drive out to get the exact car I wanted!

UPDATE: The owners response below just further proves and validates my point. I went to a reputable, less expensive mechanic who verified the issues that Toyota found with the car. The issue here isn’t the cost of the repairs. The issue is they sell you a car with problems that they don’t tell you about and expect you to do the repairs on your own dime. I have proof that I paid more than $6000 for my car. Despite the issues, yes, I do love my car but what he says below are not the complete facts of the matter. You are just another sale to them.

Intially, I was very happy with my purchase. My sales guy was awesome and made the process very easy for me. I didn't drive the car much since I worked from home. 3 months later - after I finished paying the car off, I took it to Toyota because there is an airbag recall. I took it to be fixed and I also asked for a full inspection. Turns out that my car has a major oil leak. The rear main seal is leaking and needs to be replaced. I had no idea oil was leaking as it is not leaking onto my driveway. It also has a rusted heat pan that needs to be replaced and the rear back brakes are also bad. I asked Tampa Bay Auto several times if there were any issues. Tampa Bay Auto assured me nothing was wrong. I am very disappointed to have been lied to for the purpose of making a sale. I let them know what Toyota said and they advised me to find a cheaper mechanic - no offer to make it right. I would not buy a car from here.

I went in considering a used Hyundai with a capital one preapproval and down payment. The shop ran their own financing instead, and didn't prepare the vehicle as promised. I pulled out of the deal and I was able to find what I was looking for elsewhere. I am thankful Tampa Bay Auto was able to do the right thing by refunding me in a timely manner.

Joel (sales) and Oliver (manager) worked hard to get us a reasonable (and honest) price on a Corolla for our daughter. And they have an excellent selection of cars across the price spectrum. Overall a great experience - not the usual used car hassle…
