Description

This is a great family boat with both a main and aft cabin. It comfortably sleeps 4 people but could potentially sleep (it would just be a bit tight) History: In 1975, Bill Crealock designed the longest, lightest, trailerable Masthead ketch sailboat ever built, the Clipper Marine 32 Aft Cabin Ketch coastal diesel cruiser racer. 90 of these sailboats were built in 1975 and 76 we believe this was the 89th one built. CM32's have an 8-foot beam and are one of the largest trailerable sailboats. We believe this boat weighs 7500 lbs including the trailer. This boat is in great shape with a working engine, fresh bottom paint, multiple sails (larger genoa sail, smaller jib sail, and spinnaker). Although this boat was in a slip for a few years, it has spent most of its time under a large canopy in my side yard. The four tires on the trailer are just a few years old and have very low mileage. Although this boat has served as a great family boat for countless summers, it could be a live-aboard with some minor modifications. For example, there is a restroom with a sink but not a shower. Please respond if interested an I’ll reach out with more information. I am only the second owner and have had this boat for forty four years. It has been to Catalina many times and sailed around San Diego countless times. It’s time for it to be sailed a new captain. $19k or best offer.
