Description

Please read entire listing before asking questions… Vintage Davis & Wells (made in Los Angeles) 14” bandsaw with cast iron stand, 1/2hp 1725rpm electric motor, and mobile base. I believe these were originally set up as wood cutting bandsaws, but i am sure with the right set of pulleys or a speed reducing system, these would be capable of cutting steel. As-is they should be able to cut wood, plastics, and soft metals like aluminum with the correct blade installed. Frames are made of cast-iron and door is made of cast-aluminum. Motor runs real smooth. It will need to be mounted to the stand and some sort of switch set up installed. I have too many projects at the moment and need to let some go. If you know this brand, then you know these are quality tools that were made in America. Cash, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle accepted. Located in Los Alamitos near the 405 and 605 interchange.
