Description
Up for Sale is My Soundcraft Vienna II 40 Channel Recording / Live Console (WITH) enough spare channels and parts for a second (48) Channel Console. I've had this in my Recording studio since 2019 and has served my Recording Studio very well. Preamps/ Line amps and Eq's sound very good, very clean with plenty of headroom. The reason for the sale is that I'm downsizing my Recording Studio. This would be perfect for someone who wants a mid size/ large format console that's affordable and great sounding. The console frame measures about 7 feet and is built like a tank the larger frame measures 8'. These consoles were originally made for touring so they are built very well (solid). They also have options for modifying output Transformers. I posted pics with all the LED engaged so show at everything lights up as it should. This console originally sold for $50k+ back in the 90's and originally was installed in a Church in Orange County California. I'm trying to find a good home for this console so that it will be used for years to come. There are manuals online to read through and I also have a printed copy. SALE INCLUDES: (1) SOUNDCRAFT 40 CHANNEL RECORDING/ LIVE CONSOLE (COMPLETE) (1) JBL SSG-1 HIGH CURRENT LINEAR POWER SUPPLY (1) 48 CHANNEL FRAME 8' (SPARE) not pictured (48) CHANNELS OF INPUT MODULES (SPARES) not pictured (8) CHANNELS OF BUSS MODULES (SPARES) not pictured (4) CHANNELS MATRIX MODULES ( SPARES) not pictured (1) AUX CHANNEL (SPARE) not pictured (1) MASTER SECTION (SPARE) not pictured The power supply is a upgraded JBL SSG-1 linear power supply. It was an option that Harmon offered for these consoles. It has enough power to power up two of these consoles for FOH and a Monitor console. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Also, I have other spare Channels for sale up on Reverb for this console incase you'd like some extra spares for the future so please look at all my other posts. This is being sold as is condition due the the age. The last time is was used in a Recording Session was in the last week of February 2024. I'd prefer if there was a local pickup here in Los Angeles . I don't really have the ways or means to ship this out of state. If you are out of state, we'll have to figure out some type of accommodations to make that happen. Please Feel free to contact me for more info. ( I WILL ENTERTAIN ANY REASONABLE OFFER'S ) Thanks P.S. Heres some specs on the input channels Soundcraft Vienna II Channel Strip, Input Modules RS5506 / RS5508. Knobs/Buttons in order from top to bottom: 1 The sensitivity of both the XLR and HIGH IMPEDANCE (HI-Zjack) inputs is adjusted by the SENS control. Both inputs are electronically balanced. The XLR sensitivity is -2dBu to -70dBu and+ I0dBu to -20dBu (switched range). The High Impedance input sensitivity is+ IOdBu to -20dBu. 2 The 48V switch enables 48V phantom power to be fed to the m1c input. Modules may be optionally fitted with transfom1er coupling - refer to your dealer for suitable transformers. 3 When the RNGE (Range) switch is depressed to lower sensitivity range of the input is selected to allow line level signals to be used. The signal is taken from the input XLR, unless a jack is inserted into the Hl-Z socket, when the signal from the jack is used instead. Note that when the RNGE switch is released, the HI-Z input socket cannot be used. 4 The Phase 0 switch reverses the phase of the selected input to compensate for conflicting microphone position or for crossed wiring. This switch should normally be released. 5 The High-pass Filter control is swept 20Hz - 400Hz. It has an OFF switch at the ACW end of its rotation to switch the filter out of circuit. Equaliser 6 The Equaliser has four swept bands and is placed in circuit by pressing the EQ switch. When switched out of circuit, its input is grounded. All 4 bands have +/-15dB of cut and boost. The HF section has a 20: I frequency range ratio covering )kHz to 20kHz. The Q is fixed at about I. Cut and boost is by a centre detented control. The response is normally shelving, but can be switched to peak/dip by the BELL switch. The HMF section offers a 20: l frequency range ratio covering 600Hz to l 2kHz. The Q is normally 1.3, but depressing the HI-Q switch gives a value of 2.6. Cut and boost is by a centre detented control. The LMF section offers a 20: l frequency range ratio covering 150Hz to 3kHz. The Q is nonnally 1.3, but depressing the HI-Q switch gives a value of .6. Cut and boost is by a centre detented control. The LF section has a 20: I frequency range ratio covering 20Hz to 400Hz. The Q is fixed at about 1.4. Cut and boost is by a centre detented control. The response is normally shelving, but can be switched to peak/dip by the BELL switch. Auxiliary Sends 7 Eight Auxiliary Sends are provided. Each has a rotary LEVEL control, and is sourced from the post-fader signal, but may be switched pre-fade by indi
