This beautiful Royal Blue 1950s party or prom dress in heavy taffeta is in excellent condition for the age of the dress. It has been stored in a sealed box since 1950s! It has a scoop neckline and a drop waist with three bows descending down the center of the front skirt and a bow at each arm cuff. The tag inside says "9 10" so assuming it is a junior size. The bust is 32", waist 24" with dolman arms and a working zipper 14" that extends from the arm, underarm to skirt. From the natural waist to hem is 33". The scoop neckline shoulder to shoulder is 13.5" across. The front skirt behind the bows is double lined with another layer of taffeta and tulle. The undershirt is a firm organdy to help shape the skirt. The back of the skirt has two panels lined with tulle. As you can see in the pix, there is lots of taffeta. There are no tears, stains or discoloring. I did not press the taffeta. The color of this dress will make you stand out in the crowd!
