Description
Up for sale is a truly amazing sounding set of Paradigm Esprit BP - Bipolar Towers. I hate to see them go but they're too big for my small space. This is not a set of cheap tower speakers, I believe they were $1200 new. The bipolar design requires them to be approx 8-12 inches away from a wall to provide an amazing full room sound. Of all the speakers I've ever owned, these are by far the most crisp sounding speakers I've ever had. Pair them with a high quality sub and you have an audiophile setup. They are in good working condition with some scratches and marks on the outside. The grill clothes are missing and one of the top wood plates is loose. It can be easily glued to the top of the speaker but I left it as-is in the event the new owner wants to replace the grill cloths (actually grill socks that cover all four sides of the speaker.) The wood top snaps back on to hold the cloth in place. One of the wire terminal knobs is missing but it doesn't effect performance since each post is bridged. See images for details. They could benefit from a good and thorough cleaning. Here's the specs from the manufacturer: Design: Bipolar: 2-way with 4 drivers in symmetrical front-rear driver arrays Crossover: 3rd order electro/acoustic at 1.5kHz High Frequency Driver: Two 25mm PAL™ pure-aluminum dome, die cast heatsink chassis, ferro-fluid cooled Bass/Midrange Driver: Two 215mm, MLP™ mica-polymer cone, AVS™ diecast heatsink chassis, 38mm voice-coil Low Frequency Extension: 18Hz (DIN) Frequency Response: 28Hz-22kHz Sensitivity: 91dB Suitable Amplifier Power: 15-300 watts Maximum Input Power: 190 watts Impedance: 8 ohms Internal Volume: 90litres / 3.2cuf Height, Width, Depth: 128cm x 25cm x 44cm / 50-1/8in x 9-3/4in x 17in Weight: 86kg / 190lbs per pair
