Description

Vintage American-made hand bilge pump manufactured by Arden Co. of Dolton, Illinois. This pump came with my 1953 Delta wooden runabout and may be original to the boat. A great piece of vintage marine equipment, with the manufacturer’s name and Dolton, Illinois location cast directly into the original red metal housing. Features a long brass-colored metal barrel, metal plunger rod, side discharge spout, and perforated intake. The plunger operates freely, and I’ve personally used the pump to move water. Original unrestored condition, with appropriate age-related paint wear, scratches, and patina. Nothing has been repainted or refinished. Perfect for a period-correct wooden runabout, Chris-Craft, Century, Delta, vintage boat restoration, or nautical collection.
