These unique folding chairs could be refurbished or restored to be used in Civil War re-enactments. They probably had carpet or tapestry seats. Interesting information when I searched to find out more about these chairs …”the hardware on these chairs is likely from the late 19th century to the early 20th century, potentially dating between 1880 and 1930. This would make the hardware approximately 95 to 145 years old.
