Description

This engine and transmission were pulled out of a long bed 69 Chevy C10. I bought the complete truck several years ago drove it to my house and ran fine. My intention was to restore the truck but after thoroughly looking at it I determined the body had to much damage regarding rust and and dents with excessive bondo for my taste that I decided to scrap the truck for junk metal but not without first pulling out the engine and transmission. The assembly has been sitting on the railroad cart shown in the picture since day 1 it was pulled and has never sat on the ground (cart not included) and always covered with a tarp. The carburetor was removed for installation on a different vehicle. The crankshaft does turn manually with a ratchet on the crankshaft pulley bolt. Again, the transmission is automatic and if I recall correctly the shifter was located on the floor. The numbers stamped on the block appear in the pictures. I suspect than more than likely this engine is a 4 bolt main but if I understand correctly only way to tell is by removing the oil pan. Possibly someone more knowledgeable will be able to tell from the stamped numbers. Sold As Is. Open to offers, trades or both. As for trades Im not looking for anything in particular but Im all ears. Possibly a trailer that I can fit a full size cruiser motorcycle in.
