The plates are in excellent condition no cracks are glazing or chipping the features a central folk-art design of a couple holding hands among stylized flowers and hearts, with a decorative blue border. It was produced in England as part of the "Old Granite" or "Staffordshire Old Granite" series. The design, reminiscent of blue delftware, The plates are typically made of a durable, gloss-glazed ironstone material.
