Authentic 1972 Palekh Russian Lacquer Box Hand-painted by celebrated Soviet master artist Grigory Bureev, completed during the final year of his life. Features a highly detailed scene from the classic fairy tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse." • Includes Original Certificate: Comes with the rare, original Soviet paper COA insert matching the lid's painted serial number (N 2585). • Dimensions: 6" Long x 4" Wide x 2" Tall • Lid Inscriptions: Left: N 2585 | Middle: Палех 1972 г. | Right: Буреев Г. • Condition: Excellent structural condition with vibrant paint and gold leaf work. Note: There is a small area of vintage "lacquer bloom" (light milky-white cloudiness) on the upper-right clear varnish topcoat. The underlying painting is completely untouched and undamaged.
