Rare 1925 MAXFIELD PARRISH Knave Of Hearts HB BOOK

Authentic 1st printing of "The Knave of Hearts" illustrated by Maxfield Parrish 1925. The book was a very expensive $10 in 1925 and was a large 11" x 14", thus expensive and oversized for most book shelves The same year, a smaller, less expensive one was issued in spiral binding for about $2.50. This is the largest size with over 20 art prints inside end papers at the front and back titled "Romance." *NO SHIPPING PICK-UP-ONLY *NO SHIPPING A lot of these books were purchased in the 1980s and torn apart, and each print would be framed and sold individually for about $80. to $100 each. It is hard to find a good clean intact copy after 100 years as it was a children's book and many were damaged and written in. This is a clean copy showing only minor wear, scuffing and a few bends.
