19th Century Antique French Orange Glaze Terracotta Pottery Walnut Oil Jug Antique French jar from Auvergne that was originally used to store walnut oil, for which they are particularly known in Auvergne, France. The jar is from the beginning of the 1800th century and is completely characteristic of these jars. Hugely decorative and beautiful with nice patination. Aprox. dimensions: 14"H x 11" diameter Weight: 12.6 lb / 5.7 kg Good antique condition! Minor chips commensurate with age, no cracks!
