MARX TIN WINDUP POLICE MOTORCYCLE with Sidecar (1950’s)

DESCRIPTION: We are very pleased to offer for sale, this scarce vintage Police Motorcycle and sidecar, wind-up tin toy with Siren. It was manufactured in the early 1950s, by the Marx Toys company, from New York city, New York. This is the blue hat version in a functioning state. The motorcycle features an angled front wheel (for driving a circle), a siren noise maker, and a wind key on the right side. When wound up, the motorcycle moves forwards in a large circle, as the siren makes noise. Make sure you check out my other vintage toys !!! Because if you want one of these just like it with the original box, check out my other auctions. The motorcycle's measurements are: about 8 inches long, 5 1/4 inches wide and 5 3/4 inches tall. This cool vintage Police tin toy motorcycle w/sidecar, is in “GOOD USED ALL ORIGINAL” condition. Graphics are somewhat faded on the sidecar. Zoom in to take a closer look at the untouched detail of this fine 50’s vintage toy. Plus, if you are looking to purchase one of these cycles, make sure you check to see if the clear plastic windshield is there. 90% of all these cycles are missing their windshield. The small red one is the holder for the clear plastic windshield. And also make sure the wind-up mechanism is fully functional.
