African Blue Basil Herb Plant; Grow Flowers for Pollinators; 4”

African Blue Basil plant in 4” pot. This vigorous growing, constantly blooming herb is edible but mostly grown for its role as a major pollinator attraction in any garden. I have a lot of people mistake this plant for a salvia, but it is a sterile basil variety that does not produce seed (must be grown from cuttings or offsets), which allows it to bloom nearly year round here in San Diego. I do not believe my plant has been out of bloom since I purchased it a couple years ago. The leaves are edible with a strong basil flavor. First picture shows what the mature plant looks like normally with the second picture showing what the blooms look like up close. These plants are absolute flower machines and start flowering quite small.
