HUGE Vintage 1980s Gold Leaf Fluted Mirror 66” x 48”

This magnificent vintage Hollywood Regency gold-leaf mirror originated in a Preston Hollow estate and has been in storage for 40 years (since the mid 1980s). An absolute time-capsule piece. The mirror measures 66”W x 48”H x 1”D and features a cast aluminum frame-front on solid wood backing, gorgeous hand-applied champagne gold leaf, deep fluted sides, beaded inner edge, and perfect antiqued patina. The back of the mirror has the original Kraft paper dust cover and a double heavy duty wire for hanging. Perfect mirror for floor-leaning, entryway, bedroom, or living room. Glass is flawless with no cracks or scratches. There are a few tiny age specks but this is completely normal for vintage mirrors this old and they're barely noticeable. This mirror is the exact high-end showroom style (La Barge, John-Richard, etc.) that originally retailed for $1,500–$2,500+ and inspired today’s $2,000+ Anthropologie/Arhaus versions. NOTE: Bring help and a vehicle large enough to transport the mirror (it's big and heavy!)
