Loaded with charm and functionality, this beaut of a desk cabinet works as both a statement piece and as a highly functional desk cabinet to help organize and hideaway your desktop things as needed. This piece is made of solid white oak, and has what appears to be bronze and Bakelite drawer pulls. Drawers have dovetail construction and the joints are tight. Cabinet has caster wheel feet for easy mobility for when you want to move it. The drop front desk top has a recessed, embossed leather liner, and the hinges are a smoothly operating silver-ish metal. The locking mechanism is missing on this piece but the exterior key escutcheon is intact. Condition: this pice appears to have been refinished. Unsure of what type of clear finish was used. Other than age appropriate dings and patina, this piece is largely damage free with exception of three screw holes on the top surface of cabinet. The holes could be easily filled and skillfully hidden with a bit of color matching detail work.
