Fantastic playing Selmer Mark VI low Bb baritone sax for sale. Here are the deets on this baby. S/N 278XXX, puts it at 1978. I believe it is original lacquer. No engraving. I purchased it in 2015; it had a full overhaul from a top tech in NYC just before I acquired it. Very little playing time since then. Pads are in fantastic shape, with custom brass resonators. Professionally played and maintained. Plays perfectly top to bottom. Everything is seating and the horn is well regulated, with no clucks or clatters. It’s had its fair share of dings and dents, and the front of the bell had been folded over at some point. But the repair work on it was really excellent – with especially impressive results on the bow. It’s been babied since I’ve owned it. Not certain that the neck is original, but it fits and plays great. Comes with the original case + a really nice custom Glenn Cronkheit black leather gig bag that goes for >$700 by itself 😊
