I’ve been using it like that for years — hooking it up to a monitor makes it a non-issue. Battery lasts about 2 hours unplugged. Says “Service Recommended,” but still holds a charge. Only reason I’m selling? Just upgraded. This Mac still has plenty of life left in it for someone who needs a solid laptop without the big price tag.
