Description

The Panadol plant is a hardy, multi-purpose herb, which spreads as a ground cover. It is ideal for planting around fruit trees, vegetable gardens, animal feed sheds or other areas that you want to keep pests away. The strong, aromatic scent is believed to repel various pests, including cats, dogs, mice, rats, snakes, rabbits and squirrels. When touched, the highly fragrant leaves smell a bit like "Mary Jane". Prefers full sun, but tolerates partial shade during the hot summer months. Too much shade can lead to leggy growth and fewer flowers. Produces small, delicate, lavender-purple flowers that are pollinator-friendly and attract beneficial insects.
Prefers well-draining soil; sandy soils are acceptable. Good drainage is essential to prevent waterlogging. Also known for its medicinal properties.
