Description

Scandinavian mid century modern buffet by Nils Jonsson for Troeds, made in Sweden in the 1960s. Features five drawers with a column of handles sculpted directly into the facade. The door slides rightward to reveal a cabinet space with an adjustable shelf. At just over 56" wide, the "Lyon" sideboard is neither small nor large, perfect for a medium sized dining or living space that can't quite fit a full-sized 72" credenza. The case sits atop a set of four daintily tapered legs, free of stretcher bars, giving it a clean, minimalist look. Lightly sanded and sealed with a durable satin lacquer. Traces of prior use visible on close inspection. A hand-sized patch of the top is slightly darker than the wood around it.
