About a month ago I had a check engine light on my 2023 Arteon with 5k miles on it. The next day the car won't start and had to deal with towing it in (waited 6hrs for a tow truck thru VW Roadside). Ended up being a shifter switch of some sort, the part took 3 weeks to arrive, 2 of which I had no loaner, even though they should have emergency loaners on hand but they were all out. The part got changed, they cleared the codes and gave me back the car. 2 days later, check engine light again, turns out it was the intake manifold, which was probably the reason for the original check engine light. Part got changed in a day or two and then the test drive must've consisted of doing laps through the construction site next door because the car looks the way it does in the pics. I showed the service manager this but she seemed very uninterested and unapologetic about it, basically said it's the rainy season in Seattle and there is construction next door. Really? No other cars on the lot looked like mine. She also said they don't offer a car wash BUT if I really want one, it will take 40mins at least. I said no thanks, I need to get to work. About to get in the car when I see a trim piece on the drive side floor and a screw. They took the car back in service, fixed it and decided to finally rinse the car. About to leave again when I noticed dark smudge marks on the front tan leather seats. Went back in, manager asked someone to find some degreaser... I said no way, please find some leather cleaner or send it to detail. They eventually found some and cleaned the seats.
This service department gives you the impression they are new at the whole service department thing, or at the whole customer service thing.
On our Atlas when they serviced it, they forgot to top off coolant so guess what, another trip back to the dealer.
Speaking of taking dealer trips, they cracked the shifter bezel on the Arteon during this visit and I will have to drive back again to have that installed.
Did I get offered anything for the nonsense they put me through? Or reimbursement for them not having a loaner and me having to rent a car to get to work? Did VWOA help at all? The answer is no. That's the new VW for you, after me having 15+ VWs, this is by far the worst experience with a VW dealer I've ever had. Considering selling the Arteon and the Atlas, if this is the direction VW is going, I want no part of it. $45k GTIs and Tiguans, this is not the people's car anymore sadly.

Had a great experience buying our atlas this weekend. Bob started communicating over text and was able to have everything figured out and made everything super simple for us. We were driving from Bremerton to Kirkland so we had a bit of a drive luckily our drive was easy with minimal traffic but by the time we got there we didn’t have much time to waste. They let me take the car out on my own for a test drive while my husband stayed with our kids at the dealership. They had everything ready to go and Bob and Ian made the process the most simple car buying experience ever. We were in and out of there within an hour and a half from arrival to departure with signing all the documents and test drive. Super happy with our new car and the whole experience.

Came to Volkswagen Kirkland for a routine maintenance on my Tiguan and ended up driving away in a brand-new Tiguan in the top trim! Huge thanks to the entire team – the managers were polite, professional, gave me room to negotiate, and helped me find the perfect option at a fair price.

The whole process was quick and smooth: friendly atmosphere, all paperwork done clearly and efficiently, and everything was explained in detail. Special thanks to Jack for his exceptional help throughout the process.

Highly recommend this dealership – they truly know how to take care of their customers. Thanks a lot for the great experience!

Will see how the support works and if I'd have any troubles mentioned in other reviews. Will keep posted!

We were excited for our daughter to purchase her first car, a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, from the (Volkswagen  dealership in Kirkland, Washington).

After three days of negotiating the price and running her credit, we scheduled a time with a sales representative to drive three hours to Kirkland, Washington, to finalize the paperwork and pick up the vehicle.

We were assured the car would be washed, detailed, and ready for us by 2 PM. However, two hours into our drive, we called to inform the dealership that we were running slightly behind schedule. We were then told by a different sales representative that the car was out on a test drive and would likely be sold to another customer.

This was extremely unprofessional. We had invested significant time, effort, and our daughter’s credit, yet the sale representatives from  (Volkswagen of Kirkland) dealership showed no communication, accountability, or consideration for us as customers.

While this was an unfortunate experience for our daughter’s first car purchase, we continued our search that day in the Seattle area. Fortunately, we located the same model at another dealership in Lynnwood, Washington, where our daughter received a better deal and a lower interest rate. The sales and finance teams at the (Pierre Ford) dealership in Lynnwood, Washington went above and beyond, making her car-buying experience worthwhile.

Although the situation was frustrating and disappointing, it ultimately worked out. That said, I would strongly advise anyone looking to purchase a car to avoid the dealership at (Volkswagen of  Kirkland) in Kirkland, Washington. Due to their lack of integrity, professionalism, and customer service.

very disappointed. This week I arrived with a zero charge left due to unforseen events and the EV chargers were out of order in front. I asked if we could use the other chargers along the building ( for the cars in the lot) for 20 min so we can drive 14 miles home. Immediatly the manager got very upset telling us if let us use it then he would have to do it for everybody in the area for free. He kept repeating  it was our fault for having no charge and there was nothing he would do . I offered to pay any charging fees and was not looking for a free charge, we just want to get home. He continued to offer rude comments on how it was not his problem.  I explained we were just coming back from the hospital, mother in recovery but he still refused. after much begging he let us know that he will let us charge for 20 min if I have my vehicle serviced and purchase windshield wipers blades. during the appointment he continued to hover around and stare at us as we sat in the waiting area. after the appointment and 20 minutes of charging we left.in all we were there for  1 hour. I would like the thank one young man who offered kind words of apology and a piece of candy to my mother.
