Soap Box Derby Baseball SnapBack Hat Vintage 1998 Blue Ridge Classic. The Blue Ridge Classic is a locally sanctioned race held in Waynesboro, VA as part of the All-American Soap Box Derby youth racing program that has its world championship in Akron, OH. Found this hat in a bag from my father-in-law’s closet. He may have gotten it as a fan or as a contributor. Probably was never worn, but can’t say for sure so listed as used. Looks clean. Adjustable snap back closure, or one size fits most. Last photo shows lining around base of cap that is a plastic type material that makes a crinkle noise when handled, FYI. The logo on the front is an applied vinyl decal. Black body with forest green bill and accents. Nice collector piece for those those with an interest in the sport or as a piece of local history.
