*ASKING $1100 OR BEST OFFER* I am selling my Hangkai 12hp outboard boat motor. I bought it in the summer of 2022 from amazon for about $1370. I had intentions of throwing it on the back of a dinghy and having a small personal watercraft. I never got around to doing it. I started it up for the first time ONCE in 2023 (after filling the boot with the proper marine grade oil of course) in which I ran it for about 5 minutes and shut it off, just to make sure it worked, in which it did. I did extensive research on the Hangkai engines before purchasing it: reading numerous reviews, watching numerous videos and it appears that these are essentially clones of Tohatsu engines which cost about 4x more. The hangkai actually uses some tohatsu pieces, and I assume it's made in the same factory. This would make a great first motor for anyone looking to get into boating. Watch videos on it, its very capable of pushing John boats, dingys, smaller water crafts. All in all, this engine is practically brand new...it even still needs to go through the break in procedure. The reason I'm selling is I realized I'd rather have a boat than a dingy.
