Description
Selling my vintage 1960’s camper y’all! 15’ with tow bar. Bed folds up to a futon and dinette folds down to a two person bed. Overall, can sleep four. All lights work with original light fixtures including the propane lantern above the dinette and the stove works. She’s even got a wonderful original ice chest that keeps goods cold even during hot temps and drains naturally so you don’t have to worry about sopping up the melts. Spacious closet. No toilet but a portable RV potty could be a nice addition. There are a few cracked windows that I never got around to fixing but have been sealed up and haven’t leaked during this rainy summer. Other than that, no leaks; I lived in the old girl last summer and winter (New England, yes). Interior is in great shape with zero water damage to original wood. Exterior has a few broken plastic light fixtures and could use a paint job to really spruce it up but she’s road ready as is! I intended on painting exterior but never got around to it. Tires are like new with a spare. Exterior lights all work when hooked up to car/truck for towing. Included: brand new mattress for bed with new HyperVent which acts as a low profile air barrier between wood and mattress bottom to avoid any mildew. Two propane tanks, 7 gallon portable water jug, extra storage bins, electric heater, fabric waterproof cover for storage and trailer hitch. Lightweight camper that can be towed shorter distances with a 4 cylinder, but a v6 would be preferable. V8 not necessary. I added curtains and upgraded the dinette table leg as well as added a fold down table off the side of the sink made from old floorboards from our 1840’s house. These little cuties are pretty rare in original condition and hold their value well. They don’t build them like they used to. If you’re looking to camp out in style or have a spare unit for guests in your backyard, she’s a transport to the past. Sad to see her go. Open to offers; low ballers take a hike! She’s a beaut. Happy to answer questions. Happy camping!
