Reel is in good condition, i used this Reel to catch flathead catfish out in imperial valley, reel performes well, the only thing wrong is that sometimes as you cast, the line gets caught up and the freespool disengages. This Reel would be good for tlrockfishing in the ocean since you don't have to really cast when you fish for rockfish. The reel will come with the braid removed. Perfect beginner reel for rockfishing.
