I had a really great experience at JD Auto. Lexi, our car lady, was great. Friendly, welcoming & patient. I noticed the majority of the cars here are very fairly priced, low miles in respect to the car's year & in good shape. The only 2 negatives were our car wasn't cleaned (cup holders, arm rests etc are gross) & the check engine light came on the next morning after I bought our car.

Just bought a Range Rover from JD Auto PDX and had a great experience from start to finish. I’d been shopping around for a while and was honestly starting to feel burned out by the usual dealership pressure and sketchy vibes — but JD Auto was totally different.
The SUV was in excellent shape — super clean, drove smooth, and clearly well cared for. The pricing felt fair, and there were no hidden fees or surprises, which I really appreciated.

Honestly this entire experience was a waste of my time. We knew exactly what vehicle we wanted and all we needed to do was park, read the codes with an OBD and take the vehicle home. We both have a 700+ credit score and I make over 178k a year and had cash as an option as well. We came from UTAH with three place picked out. As soon as we arrived a gentleman saw us parking(there were no signs or designated parking), he didn’t say anything. We parked behind a set of other vehicles but in a way that I could grab my son’s wheelchair. Anything gentleman came out the office and said “you need to move”. I was immediately taken back as no direction on where was made. I said “we already know what vehicle we wanted but we can go”. The gentleman said “thats fine”. So we started getting back in the vehicle and another gentleman (pictured below) said “well, you shouldn’t have parked there”. I responded well I needed a spit that was big enough for handicap parking. He laughed and said “are you serious”. I said “yes” as I LEFT MY TERMINALLY ILL SON BACK INTO THE VEHICLE. He said “you could have backed behind the truck”. This would have blocked the hatch of my vehicle to remove my 9 year old wheelchair. I said “that won’t work for us, we are just going”. He then called me a jack ass. We left and went to another dealership where we were greeted warmly. They even put a movie on for my son while we paid in cash for our vehicle. Honestly parking in of itself was a nightmare as they even had vehicles parked on curbs. They could have just told us we would need to move if needed for business and we would have. However, the disgusting behavior and aggressiveness was unacceptable and just gross.

I spent about two whole Saturdays working with Yousif on finding the perfect car, they were pretty busy and super helpful, we had plenty of other staff that could help us if we needed it. Though I did not settle for any car on their lot, I’m still extremely appreciative of the opportunities  to see what I liked what I didn’t and more! And especially appreciative to Yousif who went above and beyond for the last 2 weekends I spent on their lot and even suggested other cars!

Update, we have been trying to cancel our warranty on the Tahoe for almost two weeks. Everytime we call JD Auto they say they will get back to us and never do. Tahoe was part of an accident and was deemed totaled we just want to cancel the warranty lol.

We purchased a 2015 Tahoe back in December 2024 and so far it’s been another nightmare experience. Andrew was the salesman who reached out to us after we completed the application. We mentioned we would be down the very next day to finalize the paperwork. He said perfect he’s looking at it rig right now. We showed up right at opening the next day and Andrew didn’t have any idea what’s going on or where the vehicle even is. Andrew mentioned that it’s at the bosses house and he tried to sell us another Tahoe that just wouldn’t work for us. When the original Tahoe finally showed up it’s got some damage  on the side that wasn’t in the picture (but owning detailing stuff it wasn’t a problem)  other wise sounded good and and the test drive was a success. JD AUTO put gas into the Tahoe since we had to wait over and hour to finally see the vehicle but they KEPT the gas key which was a surprise to us a couple days later and we live 1:10hr away. On the original drive home we got 15 minutes from JD AUTO and the check engine light came on. Getting ahold of anyone from the dealership was a pain but they eventually answered and said to bring it back at my earliest convenience. A week later they changed an oil sensor and installed a new gas cap because they couldn’t find the keys to the old one and everything was fine for a couple days until the check engine light came back on for the same thing and again we tried to reach out and that was pain to get ahold of anyone yet again. All we got back was tighten your gas cap. Which didn’t solve anything. We reached out to Marcus by phone and text because Andrew was extremely unprofessional about the original sensor and hung up on us and all Marcus would say is “ I’m bad at getting back to people” “let me check what to do” “yeah Andrew should have been fired along time ago” which again never helped us so we waited for a response and got nothing. We called the office and asked for the owner and they said “reach back out to Marcus” we expressed we would love to talk to the owner about the Tahoe that’s been a problem and situation that easily avoidable and we never heard back and had to deal with the problems ourselves.
