Offered for sale is this small but mighty speaker system which is perfect for a dorm room or office, or home theater. If you have a receiver that will power a Dolby 5.1 surround sound system this package also contains a center channel speaker from Yamaha and two Bose surround speakers. Polk audio is famous for making incredibly dynamic small speakers with a frequency response similar to speakers three times the size. With a frequency response of 45 Hz to 25,000 Hz the speakers are capable of accurately producing highs that are actually beyond the range of human hearing. All in a cabinet that is only 10 inches high by 6.5” wide. The Energey Sub is Omni directional, and can be placed just about anywhere. It features an 8 inch downward firing 250 Watt Speaker capable of reproducing 35 Hz- 250 Hz, giving you a speaker system that covers the entire range of human hearing. The true beauty of the system is that it can be hooked up to practically any stereo receiver. The back of the sub allows you to run a dedicated subwoofer input from a home stereo system. On a basic stereo receiver you just run the speaker wires into the sub, which acts as a crossover ensuring optimum sound. This means that the system is backwards compatible with just about any stereo receiver built in the last 50 years! The whole idea is to make this safe and comfortable for you.
