Antique wardrobe steamer trunk made by Whittle Trunk & Bag Co. (Kansas City, MO), circa early 1900s. Made for steamship or train travel. Beautiful vintage trunk with a lot of character! ✨ Features: • Original blue painted exterior with riveted hardware and heavy latches • Interior with 4 large drawers (floral paper lining, original pulls) • Hanging section with original wooden hangers and straps. Beautiful cedar lining inside. • Decorative floral fabric lining, still intact • Strong, solid construction – makes for a great in storage cabinet, table, or vintage décor. Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. • Exterior: Original paint and riveted hardware with visible patina, scuffs, and some surface rust (typical for 100+ years of age). All latches and hinges intact. • Interior: Original decorative floral paper lining shows wear and fading but is overall intact. All four drawers open and close properly. Hanging section retains its original fabric covering, straps, and wooden hangers. • Structure: Solid and sturdy; no major cracks or breaks. Ready for display, storage, or decorative use.
