Never place hot dishes or equipment directly on wood surfaces. - Always lift your wood furniture when moving it. Do not drag your furniture, as this could loosen joinery and cause damage. - Avoid placing indoor furniture in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in finishes. - Do not lean back in chairs and avoid using table pedestals as footrests.
