Overview: Up for sale is an incredible, finely-detailed Parisian cityscape oil painting depicting a scene of rue St. Vincent in Montmartre in Paris. This was painted by listed French artist, Michel Janpol, who is known for his lovely impressionist Paris scenes. Lovely detail and wonderful scene. It comes framed in an period, intricately-carved white wood frame. Condition: Painting has two moderately-sized repairs (at upper right and lower left). Frame has scuffs but is in very good condition. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 13 inches high x 9.5 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 19 inches high x 15.5 inches wide.
