Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: August 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• •

  Provide direct patient care on an active Labor and Delivery unit with labor beds, OB evaluation, OB PACU, and OR coverage

• •

  Manage laboring patients including titrating medications, performing cervical exams, NSTs, and McRoberts maneuvers

• •

  Perform continuous fetal monitoring using GE fetal monitoring equipment and document via CPN and Meditech EMR

• •

  Maintain a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio, or 1:1 as acuity requires

• •

  Float to Postpartum/Couplet Care as needed, providing couplet care for mother and newborn

• •

  Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as unit needs dictate

Required Qualifications

• •

  Active RN license valid in California

• •

  Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience

• •

  Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)

• •

  Demonstrated ability to perform AWHONN fetal monitoring

• •

  Ability to provide Couplet Care when floated to Postpartum

Preferred Experience / Skills

• •

  More than 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience

• •

  Experience as a Transition Nurse or with newborn delivery (Baby Catching)

• •

  Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with varied patient acuity
