Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• •

  Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed freestanding emergency department with a 1:4 patient ratio

• •

  Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting

• •

  Operate and monitor equipment such as defibrillators, Hamilton Vents, Welch Allyn devices, and bedside cardiac monitors

• •

  Document patient care using Meditech EMR (transitioning from Meditech Magic to Meditech Expanse)

• •

  Maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment

• •

  Float to an alternate freestanding emergency department location as needed

Required Qualifications

• •

  Active RN License (Texas or compact)

• •

  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

• •

  TNCC certification required

• •

  NIHSS certification required

• •

  CPI certification required

• •

  Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• •

  ENPC certification

• •

  NRP certification

• •

  Experience in a freestanding emergency department setting

• •

  Strong teamwork orientation and patient experience focus
