Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• •

  Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry float pool setting across applicable units based on facility need

• •

  Float to various units as requested based on the needs of the facility

• •

  Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC electronic health records

• •

  Complete NIH and stroke education as required for RNs at this acute care facility

• •

  Maintain compliance with all facility and unit-specific clinical standards and protocols

Required Qualifications

• •

  Active Virginia RN license in hand at time of submittal, or valid compact license with proof provided

• •

  ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)

• •

  EPIC charting experience required

• •

  Specialty experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry within the last year required

• •

  One supervisory reference required at time of submittal

• •

  Social Security Number required at time of submittal

• •

  Prior permanent employees at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible for a travel assignment

• •

  Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• •

  Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment

• •

  Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation

• •

  Strong adaptability and ability to transition between units with minimal orientation
