  I purchased a 2021 Acura ILX from Web Autos. I found the car online and it was a good deal. Me and my brother went in for a test drive and everything at the time seemed fine. I made the purchase and on the way home, when I got up to about 80 mph, I noticed what I thought was an imbalance in the tires. So a little later I decided to take it in to the mechanic to get the tires balanced and they told me they could not balance the tires because 3 of the rims were bent so bad they had to be repaired and on top of that the passenger side front tire inner wall had a rupture and was bubbled out. It cost me almost 600 dollars to fix the bent rims and buy a new tire. The issue with the tire pisses me off cause that could of blown out while I was driving down the interstate at 80 mph and that would have been really dangerous. Also, all of the shocks/struts had been replaced as well so the car had been in an accident where it ran over something that bent the rims and blew out the shocks. All of this on a clean Carfax!!.. I have attached the video's of the bent rims below and the photo of the tire so nothing can be denied. The mechanic is Main Street Tire in Taylorsville NC and they are a Carfax Top Rated service center. I had to pay off the car and sell it and get something else. The simple fact that the car was sold to me in that condition is unacceptable. They did help with half of the warranty they offered but it does not cover bent rims/bubbled tires. I was on the fence about posting a review but I lost money with this car and I don't want this to happen to anybody else. Be careful buying from these guys.

  I’m never too big on leaving reviews and I didn’t really want to leave a review for this auto place but after all the trouble I’ve had I want to go ahead and tell my story. I purchased a car there a little over a year ago. It was an Audi Q5. We test drove it a couple times it drove really good. It didn’t seem to have any issues. We ended up purchasing the vehicle. Before we purchased the battery has to be replaced bc he said it needed a new battery.That weekend that we purchased the vehicle we drove about an hour and a half away from home on a trip and once we got back home from our trip, we started to smell like an antifreeze smell. I contacted the auto place and let them know that it was leaking antifreeze and the car was running hot. We took the car back by the dealership and he offered to change what he called a “hose”. The hose that was replaced was not even attached to the antifreeze reservoir. Therefore, it kept leaking antifreeze because the issue was never fixed. We then took the vehicle back by there a second time and dropped it off for his mechanic to look at in which he kept the vehicle for a week after we purchased it. He said they changed another hose. After getting the vehicle back, it was still having the same issue. I had a professional mechanic look at it, and it ended up being the whole antifreeze reservoir that needed to be replaced with the hose. I’m not sure how long this issue was going on with the car before we purchased it but now my car is broke down and the motor needs to be replaced only a year after we purchased the vehicle for $16,000!!!!!!!! the mechanic that has my vehicle now stated to me that the issue with the motor was probably caused from the leaking of the reservoir and no telling how long it was going on before we purchased the car. Therefore, the dealership sold me a car where the motor was going bad. Now I am out a $16,000 car that I just purchased slightly over a year ago. It will take $6000 to fix it. I have three kids. I have a job and I have no vehicle.!! don’t get me wrong all of the gentleman they are really nice and know how to manipulate a sale but to sell somebody a vehicle that you know is going to be financially costing only a year after purchasing, it is not ethical!!! i kept up on the maintenance of the vehicle. The oil changes. Even did a tune up on it. I wish that they would have done the right thing and fix the issue in the beginning and maybe we wouldn’t be going through what I’m going through now!

  I bought a 2018 Honda CR-V a couple weeks ago and this was one of the best car buying experiences that I’ve had in a while. I’ve always been warned to stay away from used car dealerships because they are all shady, but this one definitely wasn’t. I brought in outside financing and worked out a good deal on the vehicle, and it was a simple and smooth process from there. Thank you to Web Autos!
