So I waited about a whole year to give Boss Auto a review. I bought a 2011 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec around September 2022. They sold me a great car. Amazing weekend car to drive. Had a little bit issues but nothing major I couldn’t fix myself. It was a quick experience and honest sell. I give them 4/5 stars. Only one problem I had is they were not negotiable with their prices. But overall a great dealership.
I had a great experience buying my 2023 Toyota Corolla from Boss Auto. The entire process was smooth and straightforward. I visited early in the day and let them know I was securing financing; they provided a bill of sale right away, and even though two other people came to see the car later that day, they held it for me without issue. The car was in excellent condition, exactly as described in the listing. The dealership honored the listed price from CarGurus and only added a very reasonable dealer fee along with taxes and title — no surprises or hidden costs. The paperwork process was efficient and well-organized, and I really appreciated how easy they made everything. Everyone I dealt with was professional and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend Boss Auto to anyone looking for a fair, hassle-free car buying experience.
READ THIS BEFORE BUYING. PLEASE. And please read every review about this dealership before signing the purchase agreement. My son purchased a vehicle from this dirt lot dealership at the beginning of August and has been able to drive it safely 3 times - not for 3 days, THREE TIMES. As a consumer, you accept the risk of buying a used car from any dealer whether they bathe regularly or not (Vasyl does not). The only risk the Boss Auto Team takes is ... I can't think of any. My son's busted 2017 Subaru WRX was $16k, non-negotiable, and has been inside a shop more than outside on a road. It has a bent and empty (no precious metals) front-end catalytic converter and a square-cut hole in the rear cat with a welded pipe covering it that looks like a blind, first-time welder installed with bbq tongs. The front brake pad thickness is 7mm and rear brakes are 3mm. ETS intake is missing the air box, air filter is filthy, splash shield is missing, sump hose is leaking oil, tires are at 6/32 (not the worst), water pump heat shield is missing, j-pipe missing a nut, intercooler is crooked causing charge pipe to rest on timing cover and TGV connection, turbo mount is missing, FL and LR wheel studs are broken. That's the short list of maintenance issues and for $10k we can safely get my son back on the road! If you're looking for a hobbled car and a reason to cry, throw your money into another man's wallet at Boss Auto! But wait, not all is lost with Vasyl and his “Boss Auto Team”, they have a 50/50 warranty offer for 30-days and/or 1,000 miles. You cover half the cost of all the repairs they didn’t disclose, and they’ll cover the other half. What a deal! I’d love to give them credit for the first repair they performed “out of goodwill”. The car was sent to Premier Motorsports (without permission or notification) after the check engine light appeared 2 ½ days after purchase due to a failed starter and failed O2 sensor. According to Vasyl, the issues were due to an aftermarket VVT sensor being installed incorrectly by my son. Boss Auto spent $1k on a repair that should never have been an issue but continues to use that as the reason why the car is in the shape that it is. I have no doubt his response to this review will include a note about what we did wrong, but it will not include acknowledgment of any of the maintenance FACTS listed above nor will they take any responsibility for putting a 19-year-old college student [further] into debt. Please call All Aspects Motorsports before you buy a Subaru from Boss Auto or anywhere else. They are all too familiar with the garbage being sold to unsuspecting consumers and they have strongly urged all used car buyers to get a FULL inspection from a reputable shop before agreeing to purchase a vehicle that is held together with J-B Weld and fraudulent reassurances.
