  We happened upon this independently owned car dealer, after a long frustrating day of car shopping for my daughter. The owner, Alex, was closing up shop, but he welcomed us in, listened to what we were looking for and found her a great car that not only ticked all the boxes, but was in budget. After encountering all the typical “used car salesman” tactics which ultimately wasted our time… Alex’s no BS authenticity shined. He listened, answered questions with patience and explained everything. We ended up purchasing a car from him that night and went home happy. His customer service is old school, he went over above with his personal time and exemplary service. I highly recommend Alex of Twin Peaks Auto Group in Burlingame. It’s a small lot, but the cars he has are all clean and good quality. You can tell he is meticulous about the cars he chooses.

  I’ve always bought cars via private party, to avoid the classic ‘know-nothing, sell anything’ dealership trope. Earlier this summer when I wanted to buy a newer car, I was faced with few options in the private market. I wanted a BMW 4 series, but the private cars were not in good condition. I expanded my search to include dealers, and met Alex when I found a 2015 BMW 428i gran coupe with 70k miles on his lot. My dealership hesitancy was met with a calm, cool, and smooth demeanor that exuded honesty and transparency. It’s been 3 months & 2,500 miles since I’ve purchased the car, and I’m still impressed with the level of professionalism that he brings to the used car business.
